A HAYAKAWA FAMILY ZINE

ABOUT US

Are showers overrated?
Is flushing the toilet stupid?
Do you see vegetables as the devil incarnate?
Do you just want a warm meal?
Maybe with someone who can take your unwanted veggies?
Do you appreciate a good hug?
Do you just want to be loved?
The Hayakawa Family Zine welcomes you to the house we call home. To the space where healing takes place; where status ceases and life recedes into a warm site nurtured by love and comfort.Join us, as we curate a space in the form of a zine for our favorite dumb trio: Aki, Denji, and PowerThe Way Home.

    MEET THE MODS

    MOD POWER

    FINANCE, LOGISTICS, PRODUCTION & SHIPPING

Henlo~ I'm your carrot hating, shower slaying, self-elected president Shii living in servitude to her imaginary cat §ԾᴗԾ§ I'm extremely grateful to Kari and Yujun for agreeing to this project! Really excited to bring this to life with them!! My mod experiences include finance, beta, and organisation for: Stray Memories, Everlasting Zine, Bearer of Light, and more!

    MOD AKI

    ART DIRECTOR, GRAPHICS & FORMATTING

Hi, I’m Kari, a twenty-something designer who works hard so she can buy more Pochita merch. This is my first time in a mod role, but I’ve been an artist for 25+ zines—such as Domain Expansion and Fated—and have been the cover artist for a few too, including Wanderlust. Professionally, I have experience formatting multiple publications for clientele. Nice to meet you!

    MOD DENJI

    SOCIAL MEDIA & WRITING

Yo, I'm Yujun! 24, he/him, and I barely fucking learned how to read. When I'm not doing my best to destroy my last braincell, you can probably find me procrastinating! My mod experience includes Liushen Zine and Everlasting Zine, but I've also contributed to All Jumbled Up, Colors of Despair, Seijoh 4 Zine, and over a dozen others! I also have experience copy editing publications and publishing my own chapbook under a grant back in university.
